I don’t have all the details of the weekend since I couldn’t ride due to a (faked) illness. I’d plan to skip Saturday’s ride and would have done Sunday’s ride but I wasn’t feeling any better and decided to rest to speed up the recovery. Anyway, several riders decided to go out early (a day early).
Over the weekend, several of our riders did century rides at other events. While others participated in races and went to secret training camps.

Mishap
One a steep downhill into the Killbuck Valley between Wooster and Lodi there’s a very steep descent and because it’s hard to maintain a safe speed it is very tricky. The wet roads didn’t help. Mike Roach lost control and slid into the guardrail. He doesn’t think he broke anything but has pain in his shoulder and has some road rash. Others reported having a hard time on that descent. I don’t think we will be taking that descent in the future.
