11th and 12th Long Distance Prep Ride Reports

Saturday

On Saturday we had 15 riders to start with one rider (Sabastian) who rode from Canton to try to meet riders on the road but missed them somehow.

Weather Conditions

Pretty bad!  The riders had heavy winds and gusts, rain, hail, and perhaps a few other things.  I heard reports that there was no fun to be had that day.  Congratulations to all who braved the elements to build some character.

Sunday

We had 9 riders to start.  We only rode 75 miles but all of us agreed that it felt like 100.  Consequently, we all got credit for 100 miles.  😉

Weather Conditions

The weather wasn’t too bad but we never saw the 60 degrees that we were hoping for.  Luckily we were all smart enough not to dress for 50’s and 60’s.  The sun never came out but it did come out as soon as we completed the ride.
