Finally, riders were able to log the season’s first century!  Actually, several riders rode to the start so the max mileage was considerable more than 100 miles.  According to Mark Thomas, “It was a perfect day for riding, except for the wind, which seemed to always work against us unless we were headed due East.  Some sunshine, good roads, and a good group of riders”.

Weather Conditions

This was probable the first Saturday where the temperature at the start was above freezing.  That’s not saying much but it keeps hope alive that spring is near.  Or is it?
