2 riders. The light rain cleared up before 9am but the dampness and the heavy clouds took away all motivation. Once a rider showed up I started to slowly finish preparing to ride but was waiting for any excuse not to ride. After 15 minutes of indecisiveness we decided to try to do at least 20-40 miles. We decided to go to Peninsula instead of the planned route. Once we got started we realized that the dampness and heavy clouds made the day feel as miserable as all the others.
On the way back the river ford was closed and we had to ride on a flooded trail as an easy detour. We saw Christa walking her dog and she took this video.

13 riders (Joe O. who rode to the start). Yet another day that felt as cold as the rest, probably due to the winds coming from the NW.
One freak incident occurred when a utility wire (cable or telephone) that was going across the road fell right on Bill. He didn’t lose control and no one was injured. As I rolled up I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw a rider handling a utility wire. Turns out he had no choice because he was tangled in it!
On the way out, one of the roads south of Lodi was flooded over. The water level was up to the bottom racket and half of the riders rode through it while the other half walked and rode on a ridge that looked like it was built as a dam or as an emergency passageway. On the return, two other roads were blocked but we found easy detours.
Bill took this video with his GoPro. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=cyxqzY12Cug
