No one showed up at the start but I met James on the road. As usual we rode and talked and  road and talked.   Finally, we realized that we’d missed our turn and were off course. We didn’t seem to care because it was a good day to be on the road.  When we got to our lunch break in Akron, we thought that it couldn’t have come soon enough.  Both of us were running out of steam.  We decided to go to a place where we could carb load and refuel so that we could finish the ride.  At that point I had 31 miles to go and James had almost 50 to go so we would need some brews to help us finish the ride.   We “carb loaded” and refueled and had a good time catching up and laughing.

The red hue came from the red translucent roof on the patio of Pub Bricco.

The ride home was let’s say, uhhhh…the carb loading didn’t help much but the pain in the legs had gone away.

Overall, it was a very nice day.
