Greetings All,

Another cycling season as come and gone. It’s hard to believe that we are at the end of the because it’s so unusually warm and many are still riding like it’s still summer.  I want to thank all of you for making this series a wonderful experience.  It was a good start, weather-wise (in December) followed by a brutally cold February where we weren’t able to get out on the road for the entire month.  In spite of the winter, we were still able to participate quite a few long distance rides which were near record numbers in 11 year history of the group.

We had 60 riders to participate in 31 rides over 28 weeks. We also had a record 16 new riders to join us for the first time which was remarkable.

Again, I want to thank all of you for making it easy for the group to get into and stay in shape so that we could enjoy a fun season of club riding, tours, and racing.  I also want to thank you for making this group the “go-to” for long distance cycling in NE Ohio.

I hope you have a great Winter Preparation Period and Transition Phase.

If you know of any indoor training opportunities, please let us know. I hope to see you all in the spring.
