We had 16 riders total with several riding to the start and we met one rider on the road. It was a sunny and very warm day for February but the winds were brutally strong going out and very strong on the return.  At times we were gripping our bars to stay on the road.   We rode a little hard going out, thinking that it would be a cakewalk on the return but we were in for a surprise once we left the lunch break.  We were still feeling the wind and the quietness that we were expecting never did come during the entire ride.   I think some of us were thinking about quitting cycling altogether.   The next morning, my legs felt like they were made of concrete.  I could barely move.  Well, it was good training.   The weather was nice a warm though.  One person mentioned that he had more clothes stored away than he was wearing.
