The weather, at the start, was pretty pleasant.  We haven’t had much of that lately, at least on the weekends.

It was another low turnout. This is the time of year where the turnout is lower anyway, but this year has been remarkably low for one reason or another.  It was NICE to see Mike H. show up.  We hadn’t seen him in some time.

We were supposed to meet Dan and Tina, out on the road, but because we didn’t have the motivation or time to do the planned route, we decided to go to Oberlin from the Lagrange stop instead.  Dan and Tina got to the planned meet-up spot earlier than we did so we weren’t able to connect with them.  In a way, I’m glad that we didn’t make it to Ashland because the winds picked up in the afternoon and it would have been a long 60+ miles struggling to get back home.   All in all, it was a good day.  I’m glad to have gotten in some miles with enough time to do some other things.
