Saturday

This was a great day to be out but my legs were was so tired I wasn’t able to ride.   Well, it was nice until about 9am.  Right at the start time, it started to rain and Manny and Jim jumped back into their cars as a couple of riders rolled up on their bikes.  As quickly as the rain came, it went way.   Jerry called Manny on the phone to tell him to get back there so they could roll out.

I got a report from Joe O. that out on the road, the riders that remained for the longer distances had to finish the ride “old school”, meaning without the use of GPS. They actually had to rely on the position of the sun, cue sheets, and measure the wind direction and speed by putting a finger in the air.

Riders included:

Bryan Sharp Joe Ochmanski
Jerry Golinski Manny Grosso
Jim Boland Mark Papajcik
Joe Cherico Tim Furey
